1. About this policy
This policy explains how Stonebridge Legal Solutions Limited (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local and session storage, on stonebridgelegal.co.uk. It follows the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and the UK GDPR. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.
A cookie is a small file a website saves on your device. Local and session storage do a similar job inside your browser. We call them all “cookies” below.
2. In short
- We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies.
- We only store what the site needs to work, and a couple of preferences you set yourself.
- Google Maps and YouTube content can set Google’s own cookies, so it only loads if you accept cookies or choose to load that item.
- Rejecting cookies does not stop you using the site, booking a consultation or contacting us.
3. Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site or a feature you ask for to work, so the law does not require your consent for them. They are not used for anything else.

4. Your preferences
These only change how the site looks or behaves for you. The law allows them without consent, provided we explain them and let you object. You can object at any time by choosing “Reject all” under Cookie settings, which clears them, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

5. Content from other services (only with your consent)
Some pages can show content hosted by Google. Until you accept cookies, or press the “Load” button on that item, we show a link instead and nothing is loaded from Google for it.
- Google Maps on our Contact page, showing our offices. Once loaded, Google may set cookies and receives your IP address.
- YouTube videos on some articles. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); once loaded or played, YouTube may still store information on your device.

Some page banners are photos served by Unsplash, and article cards show video thumbnails from YouTube’s image server. These are ordinary images that set no cookies for us, but to display them your browser connects to those servers, which receive your IP address. Our WhatsApp and Facebook buttons, and the online payment link, are plain links: nothing is loaded from those services unless you click them.
6. Security without cookies
We protect our forms and sign-in against abuse using your IP address on our server and a one-time security question inside the form. Neither stores anything on your device.
7. Changing your choice
You can accept or reject cookies, or change your mind, at any time by choosing at the foot of any page. Rejecting after accepting stops Google content loading on our pages; to remove cookies Google has already set, clear them in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies for any site.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this policy, and the date at the top, if the cookies we use change.
